When we drove into Twisp last Friday, we discovered that the marquee on the Calvary Baptist Church said ‘The Lewis Family’. That spirit of welcome proved to be the character of the people there.

It was so much fun to be with the Junior and Senior high students at Cedar Park School yesterday, the 8th. We did a Bittersweet presentation there, with speaking, music and media. Awakened Worship combined with some very gifted Cedar Park musicians, and the worship time was awesome. What a great audience- its so enjoyable sharing the message God has given to us, about how we can take Him all of our “stuff’ and receive something so GOOD in return. Always. Continue reading
The sun is shining- maybe it will wake up all those dormant dahlia bulbs in my garden. 8-) I’m noticing that I feel more energetic when that bright orb shows itself. Maybe God has delberately arranged that surge in energy when the sun comes out, to coincide with the fact that all the unseen dirty windows (and other things) suddenly come into full view! How is it possible (in Seattle anyway; it may be normal in Denver!) to eat dinner outside at 7:00 pm one Saturday, and have two inches of snow the next Saturday? Especially in the second half of April! Just goes to show that anythng is possible.
